We are renowned for our soups outstanding quality and flavor and make them daily, offering around six different soups each week, and a choice of around a hundred different combinations over the course of the year. New ones can be found in our stores on most days and every week offers a different choice from the previous week.
They range in breadth from hearty offerings such as Mulligatawny, Beef Noodle, Chicken and Vegetable, and Scotch Broth, to simple vegetable purees such as Three Mushroom, Asparagus, Carrot and Ginger, and Parsnip and Celery Root, to Organic Split Pea and Ham, and Broccoli and Vermont Cheddar. Many are vegetarian.
We use only fresh ingredients, local when possible, and our own stocks, which are a major part of what makes our soups taste so good. Every week we make chicken, beef, vegetable, and fish stocks from scratch.
Many of our soups are a meal in themselves.
Our soups generally freeze well, and we carry a range of frozen choices as well as our weekly offerings.
